María Crosetti
Bio
María Crosetti (Rosario, 1979)
Lic. en Comunicación Social. She was awarded scholarships by the Gobierno de Santa Fe (2014), Fundación Itaú, and FNA (2019). She won the acquisition award from the Bolsa de Comercio at the Salón del Museo Rosa Galisteo (2016). She exhibited under the curatorship of Alberto Goldenstein at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Rosario (2015), Clarisa Appendino at Fundación Osde Rosario (2016), and Francisco Medail at Galería Subsuelo (2023). She has participated in various competitions and salons such as Itaú Artes Visuales (2015 and 2018), Salón Nacional (2016), and FNA (2018). In 2019, Editorial Municipal de Rosario published her work in the contemporary photography collection. She is part of the artist team at Galería Subsuelo. She is a teacher and a member of the Camarada collective. She lives in Rosario.
Statement
I work with photographs, texts, and installations. I prioritize processes over results. I am interested in what is seen and what is not seen, what is suggested, what is hidden, what is not visible but becomes present.
