The Special Project of Pinta BAphoto, curated by Irene Gelfman, presents Cuatro piezas clave (Four Key Pieces), an installation by Cecilia Lenardón that pushes the boundaries of the photographic image, bringing it closer to the idea of a living, mutable, and exhaustible thing. Lenardón explores a vitality that arises from constant transformation, far from any fixity, challenging the traditional concept of the image to open new perceptual horizons.

As part of the Pinta BAphoto celebration, a series of tributes will be held to honor three major figures of Argentine art: artist and cultural leader Luz Castillo, along with artists Aldo Sessa and Pedro Roth.

Con el fin de crear puentes entre los visitantes y las obras, tres guías realizarán recorridos curados por la feria  a través de un lenguaje coloquial, accesible y dinámico.  Una mirada ecléctica que explora la diversidad de técnicas y búsquedas conceptuales de los artistas para una mayor comprensión de las prácticas en la fotografía contemporánea.

Ediciones Larivière was founded in 1992. It occupies a special place in the Argentine publishing world due to the high thematic and artistic impact of its books and the visual quality that distinguishes them. Since then, the South American cultural heritage, particularly the Argentinean one, began to nurture its catalog. It publishes both established artists and new generations.

La Paragráfica became one of the key sectors in Pinta BAphoto. The bookstore has had a stand since 2018 at the fair to offer a unique selection of books and photobooks. 

Attended by professional booksellers with more than forty years of experience, La Paragráfica is the online Argentine bookstore that exclusively offers art, design and photography books.

The LA NACION Foundation presents the exhibition "Hambre de Futuro," an exhibit showcasing the dreams of the poorest children in the country and the impact that education has on their lives. 

CALLE Project
CALLE Project

CALLE (which means street in Spanish) is a photography project. The photos were taken by people living on the streets in the city of Buenos Aires over the last 15 years. CALLE tries to ensure that people who live in vulnerable conditions (which have pushed them to live on the streets) can be photographers and can express and share their view of the city.
