Since 2015, Francisco Medail has been the face of the Artist Tribute section. A program that recognizes the careers of photographers who actively contributed to the field of Argentine photography, with the aim of recovering and highlighting their significance within local history. Among them have passed: George Friedman (2015), Juan Di Sandro (2016), Frans van Riel (2017), Pepe Fernández (2018), Pedro Otero (2019), Foto Estudio Luisita (2020), Lucrecia Plat (2021), Sara Facio (2022), and Boleslaw Senderowicz (2023)

BAphoto presents FORO, a series of conversations reflecting with local and international artists, curators, collectors, gallery owners, and museum directors, dedicated to collaboratively investigating different aspects of photography and contemporary art.
The cycle aims to bring closer to the general public those proposals that contemplate diversity in productive processes and techniques, resulting in different visual outcomes. In order to create bridges between visitors and the artworks, the curator conducts an explanatory tour through a colloquial and accessible language, while keeping in mind the need to promote the creation of new audiences for contemporary art.
