With the aim of supporting the development and professionalisation of mid-career artists, ALMACÉN |arte contemporáneo| was founded in 2020 as a Home Gallery in San Nicolás de los Arroyos, and in 2024 it opened its headquarters in Buenos Aires (C.A.B.A.). In 2021, it was declared to be of national cultural interest by the Ministry of Culture of the Nation, according to Resolution -2021-1294-APM-MC, and of municipal cultural interest by Ordinance 469/2021. Promoting the work of the artists on its roster in a comprehensive manner, creating opportunities for both individual and collective participation, is part of the work carried out by Ismael Abrahan and Leo Mayer, directors of the gallery.
