Statement
“Death at Dawn” explores the notion of death not as an absolute end, but as a transition to a new form of existence. This photographic project focuses on the life cycle of a flower, using its transformation as a metaphor for metamorphosis and transcendence.
Through close observation, the artist documents the flower’s morphological changes from its full splendor to its wilting state. Initially requiring light, water, and soil to thrive, the flower becomes a symbol of resilience and renewal when it finds itself in a state of decay. The visual investigation reveals how, despite its deterioration, the flower continues to express renewed beauty and persistent vitality.
