Jerónimo Salvatierra

Bio

Jerónimo Salvatierra is an architect and photographer from Tucumán. His work is based on the registry of centuries-old adobe constructions in the Calchaquí Valleys, many of which are in danger of disappearing. From the records, he creates compositions with a strong sculptural character that tend to float in space, defying gravity. Most of these structures arise from the repetition of grayed, geometric units, which result in conglomerates and impossible buildings.
