Statement

MEMORY AND ARCHIVE
Memory for me is not a static set of memories; it is a dynamic space where my senses find images, emotions and narratives. This sensory memory not only allows me to reconstruct the past, but also to reinvent and reinterpret it in the light of the present.
The archive is the testimony of my history; It is where my identity becomes concrete and where my narratives are consolidated. It gives me the opportunity to rediscover myself and rewrite my story over and over again.
My identity is a fluid space, constantly evolving, where my memories and experiences never stop transforming. Memory deeply influences who I am and who I choose to be.
For me, memory, archive and identity are mixed, shaping my understanding of the past, my perception of the present and my projection of the future.
Photography, with its ability to stop time, creates visual archives that act as powerful reminders or subtle falsifications of reality. It is a resource that allows me to forget and reinvent what I consider true.
