Museo de Arte Tigre

A true cultural gem of the district, the Museo de Arte Tigre (MAT) occupies a splendid building that was once the site of the old Tigre Club and has been refurbished according to the highest principles of modern museology.

The MAT permanently displays an excellent collection of Argentine art from the late 19th and early 20th centuries and also hosts temporary exhibitions.

In recent years, the museum has added new works to its foundational collection, primarily by Argentine artists from the late 19th to mid-20th century, to highlight figurative expressions that clearly reflect images related to the customs and types of our country and the communities that shaped Argentina.
