Fundación Andreani

The Fundación Andreani space, designed by architect and artist Clorindo Testa, is located in the heart of the La Boca neighborhood in Buenos Aires, overlooking the Riachuelo River and just steps from the historic Vuelta de Rocha.

The architectural project was conceived in 2009, featuring a four-story building that preserves and enhances the heritage value of its façade. Before his passing, Testa created the designs for the spaces with his signature style, also preserving the characteristic essence of the area through the use of materials and colors in internal patios and balconies.

This new architectural icon in Buenos Aires respects the original façade of a representative building in La Boca, which has served as a tenement, shipyard, restaurant, and home. It is an Italianate-style, port-inspired construction, built around 1880.

Above all, the Fundación Andreani space serves as a meeting point that welcomes innovative, broad, and diverse proposals. It is open to the public with free admission, offering various interdisciplinary activities with an experimental, playful, inclusive, spontaneous, and reflective spirit.
