Statement

I work with analog supports because I am interested in the surprise factor and the feeling of having little control over the results. Chance is a fundamental element in my work and I let the photographic material do its thing, that is why I use different types of films, from very thin films to cheap or expired ones. I explore the different visual aesthetics that can be achieved from a certain type of light or through the use of different formats. Each of them is suitable for narrating with a particular tone and character.
I look for the universal in the particular, and consciously, I stop to observe what by familiarity and routine has become invisible.
