Statement

STATEMENT
My training comes from two paths that have been interrelated when configuring my work, on one hand, my previous experience as a biologist and on the other hand my studies in the field of photography and art.
I am interested in working with the limits of what we understand as nature and culture. In times of global environmental problems, art is a way to question and keep the problem open, as well as to find channels for discussion, new visions and ways of articulating the world.
In my photographic series I sometimes work based on a specific idea and other times more intuitively. I consider that photography is an ideal medium to work on the subjective, always under the individual and emotional filter during the creative process.
