Recoleta Cemetery, located in the neighborhood of the same name, is the most visited in the city due to its impressive mausoleums and vaults, which belong to important figures in Argentine history, such as Eva Perón. It was built in 1822 and designed by French engineer Próspero Catelin. Over time, it became the preferred necropolis for wealthy families. In addition to its historical significance, the cemetery is notable for its curious stories, such as those of Liliana Crociati and David Alleno.
