La Paragráfica became one of the key sectors in Pinta BAphoto. The bookstore has had a stand since 2018 at the fair to offer a unique selection of books and photobooks.
Attended by professional booksellers with more than forty years of experience, La Paragráfica is the only Argentine bookstore that exclusively offers art, design and photography books.
Its extensive, carefully selected bibliography specializes in graphic design, illustration and urban art, photography, textile design, fashion, avant-garde architecture, interior design, product design, crafts, lifestyles; and the set of visual arts.
La Paragráfica joins BAphoto in a privileged stand in the publishing sector. The titles, even those unique in the country, enrich the contents of the fair, establishing special relationships between photographers and highlighting the presence of photography among the arts.
It features works by Henri Cartier-Bresson, August Sander, Berenice Abbott, Lisette Model, and Brassaï. It also has MoMA's complete photography collection, spanning from 1840 to 1920, in a nearly 400-page book.
For this 2022 edition of Pinta BAphoto, book editions by Argentine photographers such as Sara Facio -the honored artist-, Annemarie Heinrich, Boleslaw Senderowicz, Marcos Zimmermann and Santiago Porter were included in the stand.
