In the context of the Acquisition Program, the In Situ Award was held at NEXT | Out of Focus on Friday, October 25, at 5:00 p.m. The award was given to artist Sandro Pereira from The White Lodge gallery (Córdoba, Argentina) by jurors Abel Guaglianone and Cecilia Remiro Valcárcel.
Additionally, as part of a strategic partnership between Pinta BAPhoto and the IN SITU Award, a participation grant was awarded to a gallery or collective project, inviting the recipient to join the NEXT | Out of Focus Section with all costs covered. This distinction was awarded to the gallery Consultorio (San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina) for being selected to receive this grant.
The fair also featured strong sales and numerous acquisitions, including collector Jean Louis Larivière, who acquired four works by artist Julio Grinblatt from the Ruth Benzacar gallery, a piece by Alicia D’Amico from the Vasari gallery, and two works by the honored artist Jaime Bolotinsky.
Meanwhile, the Oxenford collection acquired a piece by artist Pompi Gutnisky from the Tramo gallery.
